GradeBook ("we", "our", or "the Service") is a school management platform designed to help educators manage academic records, student enrollment, grading, and class administration. GradeBook is not affiliated with or partnered with any specific school. Any educator can create an account and set up a school on the platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL database platform. We implement row-level security policies to ensure that users can only access data they are authorized to view. Authentication is handled via secure one-time passwords (OTP) delivered to your email. We do not store passwords.

Account deletion is self-service and can be done at any time from your Settings page. For any other requests, please contact the GradeBook team.
GradeBook is used by educators to manage student records. Student data is entered and managed by the teachers who use the platform. Students do not create accounts or directly interact with the Service. Users who enter student data are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary authorization and consent to do so.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the Service. Continued use of GradeBook after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
