GradeBook is a school management platform that enables educators to manage academic years, terms, classes, student enrollment, subject assignments, assessments, and grade calculations. The Service is available to any educator - GradeBook is not affiliated with or partnered with any specific school. Users independently create accounts and set up schools on the platform.
When using GradeBook, you agree to:
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all academic data, student records, and grades you enter into GradeBook. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter, including ensuring you have the necessary authorization to input student information. We do not claim ownership over your content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of operating GradeBook.
GradeBook implements role-based access control. Class teachers have full control over their assigned classes, including student enrollment and subject assignments. Subject teachers can only access data for the subjects and students they are assigned to. You agree to respect the access boundaries set by the system and not attempt to circumvent them.
We strive to keep GradeBook available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.
We may use aggregated and anonymized data derived from your use of GradeBook for analytics purposes, including but not limited to:
Analytics data is stripped of personally identifiable information and cannot be used to identify individual students, teachers, or schools. We may share anonymized, aggregated data with trusted third-party analytics providers who assist us in processing and interpreting this data. These providers are contractually bound to use the data solely for the purposes described above and are prohibited from re-identifying or selling the data. By using GradeBook, you consent to the collection, use, and third-party processing of anonymized data for these purposes.
GradeBook is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or any damages resulting from errors in grade calculations.
